Movie magazine celebrates 30 years of Empire Strikes Back

This month's Empire magazine celebrates 30 years since the release of The Empire Strikes Back and gives Star Wars fans a glimpse behind-the-scenes of the flick.

This month's Empire magazine has taken an in-depth look at the new Edgar Wright film, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Described as "essential reading", the feature tells movie fans everything that they possibly need to know about the new film, "from the exact quantity of coffee needed to turn you into a genius director of hip comedies to Quentin Tarantino's Churchill impression, to Michael Cera's take on stunt work", according to the Empire website.

The issue also provides Star Wars fans with a special behind-the-scenes glimpse at The Empire Strikes Back, which is now 30 years old.

An exclusive supplement, packed with never-before-seen shots from the iconic film's production, is included, along with the magazine's usual reviews and previews.

If that is not enough, readers are given the chance to meet the new Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield, who is also set to star in Never Let Me Go and the Social Network later this year.

Finally, completing the behind-the-scenes theme, fans of gangster films can treat themselves to a look at on-set shots from photographer Steve Schapiro.
