TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh has been through the ringer recently, after months of cheating rumours affecting her relationship, she and Mario Falcone ended their relationship (though the cheating was not the reason apparently!) and now the boutique owner has undergone a classic break-up makeover.
Whilst many say Lucy is looking better than ever, some have criticised her weight, saying she has become too skinny. Speaking to Heat magazine in this week’s issue, Lucy claims at a size 8, she is perfectly healthy.
“I wouldn’t let myself get like that,” she tells the magazine. “Probably after I split up with Mario I did get a bit too skinny, but I did something about it.”
She adds: “I don’t like the skinny-skinny look. I don’t think I’m too thin. My personal trainer wouldn’t let me get too thin, and neither would my family. I’m feeling good. I’ve worked hard for it. I always eat healthily, and I use a personal trainer two to three times a week. I’d never let myself go below 8st. I’m 8st 4lb now. This is my ideal weight.”
