Lose a stone while eating chocolate

Woman's Own magazine has published the diet that females everywhere may have been waiting for.

It promises to keep users satisfied with things like chocolate every day, while allowing them to shed up to a stone in four weeks.

The publication's food nutrition expert Monica Grenfell explained that eating a low-fat diet and distributing chocolate intake over time can help shed the pounds without you ever feeling hungry.

It is achieved by consuming between 1,300 and 1,400 calories per day, with everything except the chocolate being low in saturated fats.

Dieters should also avoid guilty pleasures such as alcohol, additional salt or sugar, too much coffee and oily fruits such as olives or avocados.

Fried foods, red meat, fizzy drinks, junky snacks and energy drinks are also a no-go area for those hoping to trim a stone off their weight.

They should also drink plenty of water and green or herbal tea throughout the day, but limit themselves to two cups of caffeinated coffee.

Woman's Own has a number of diets to try this month, including what it describes as the "miracle" sugar-free diet.
