L'Oreal advert 'not misleading'

Cheryl Cole's L'Oreal advert is not misleading, the Advertising Standards Agency has ruled.

Heat magazine has revealed that Cheryl Cole and L'Oreal have escaped punishment for their recent advert.

The sexy Girls Aloud singer can be seen advertising hair products from the firm, despite the fact that she is wearing extensions.

Heat noted that it is slightly ridiculous that she claims her hair feels "full of life", even though her extensions are very much dead.

However, the Advertising Standards Agency has ruled that the TV ads are not misleading, noting that customers should be fully aware that results may vary.

The X-Factor judge and solo singer has recently been romantically linked to the Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am and has confirmed that she is divorcing her husband Ashley Cole, who plays football for Chelsea and England.

In other news, Heat magazine recently questioned whether Friends star Courtney Cox has had further Botox treatments.
