Little Mix won us Brits over when they won the 2011 series of X Factor and have since gone on to have fantastic success in the charts. Now, they have America in their sights and have already landed themselves a cover on Seventeen magazine.
Perrie is currently dating One Direction’s Zayn and as the boys are now huge in the States, the girls asked them for a bit of advice.
Leigh-Anne says: “I asked the boys from One Direction how to make it in America and they basically said: ‘Be yourself and you can’t go wrong. People know when you’re trying to be someone you’re not. Just be true to who you are.’ So that’s what we’ve been doing!”
It’s not just One Direction dishing out tips to the girls either, they have even more friends who have been through a similar experience.
“When we met the Spice Girls, Emma Bunton told us to keep being friends because that’s the connection fans love you for,” says Jade.
