Holly Willoughby 'regrets leaving The Xtra Factor'

Sources close to Holly Willoughby have revealed to people with a Now magazine subscription that she regrets her decision to leave The Xtra Factor for her slot on This Morning.

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby isn't settled on her daytime TV gig, according to sources who spoke to Now magazine.

Anyone with a Now magazine subscription can read about Holly's regret that she left her role on The Xtra Factor to concentrate on the daytime show.

The 29-year-old has been replaced in the other show by former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq, who recently got engaged to TV critic Charlie Brooker.

An ITV insider told Now magazine: "Holly wishes she could turn back the clock on The Xtra Factor and thinks she did a better job than Konnie's doing."

"Right now she's contracted to stay at This Morning for at least another year and feels she must see it through, but she's yearning for new projects," the source added.

Among the new projects she craves are acting roles, apparently.

After appearing in a cameo role in Miss Marple, which Holly really enjoyed, she's caught the acting bug, according to the insider.
