Heather Mills to compete for Britain at Paralympics?

Heather Mills has made it her aim to compete in the downhill skiing event at the forthcoming Paralympics.

The interesting life of Heather Mills looks set to be taking another twist after the former wife of Sir Paul McCartney revealed that she is gunning for a place on the British winter Paralympic team.

According to Now magazine, the 42-year-old is hoping to represent Britain in the Paralympic downhill ski event.

The animal rights campaigner revealed that she had been asked to try out for the cycling team, but told the Sunday Express that she became bored riding a bike every morning.

She has made it her mission to remain active, despite losing her left leg after being knocked down by a police motorcycle 17 years ago.

"You know when you set in your head things that you want to do and achieve? Well, I've ticked about 90 per cent of all the boxes, and this is one of the major ones remaining for me," she told the newspaper.

Ms Mills added that she has loved sport her entire life and that representing her country in the Paralympics "would be a dream come true".

In other news, Ms Mills' Redwood firm was last month named Most Ethical Vegetarian Foods Supplier for the fifth consecutive year by the Ethical Company Organisation.
