Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding 'just' missed out on movie role

Fans of Sarah Harding who have an OK! magazine subscription can read how the singer nearly bagged a part in the upcoming X-Men film.

Girls Aloud fans with an OK! magazine subscription can read how Sarah Harding almost bagged a role in the upcoming movie X-Men: First Class.

Sarah, who recently starred in the St Trinians films appeared to be very gracious in her defeat.

The singer told OK! Magazine: "I got called back three times for X-Men but I missed out on the part to January Jones which was fine, she's a more established actress, but I was pleased to have got that far down the line."
Sarah said she's been getting a lot of interest in the film industry but she's waiting for the right part to come along.

"I'm getting quite a few offers but I'm being quite picky," she added. "I thought Uma Thurman was great in Kill Bill, I'd love a kick-ass role!"

January Jones will be starring as Emma Frost in the latest X-Men flick. Also in the film are James McAvoy, Kevin Bacon and Nicholas Hoult.
