If there’s a magazine that would be able to gather the best of Hollywood together, it would definitely be ELLE USA.
The November issue of the American edition of ELLE features as very gorgeous-looking Sarah Jessica Parker on the cover, as well as interviews with her, Elle Fanning, Emma Watson, Susan Sarandon, Kristin Wiig, Octavia Spencer, Cate Blanchett and Uma Thurman. All fantastic women who have seen different sides of Hollywood.
SJP is of course, best known for playing Carrie Bradshaw. Despite playing her for six series and two movies, the actress has said she wouldn’t want to play a similar character again. “I don’t love the idea of playing another woman who loves fashion and is slightly flawed in New York City,” she told the magazine. “I loved Sex and the City’s Carrie [Bradshaw] and I don’t want to do the poor man’s version of her. And while those are often the lucrative things to do, it’s more reason to look in the other direction.”
Emma Watson is also stepping away from her best-known as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, her new movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower has just been released over here and is getting great reviews. But she’s happy that she got to play such a fantastic role to begin with. “I just knew, from the moment I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone that I was meant to play that role,” says Watson. “I put one of the Potter films on the other night. And it was amazing to me that I had done all of that. I have to remind myself every now and then.”
