She’s one of the country’s most famous ballet dancers but more recently she’s been better known as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing. Now that the show is so close to the end, HELLO! magazine have caught up with the judge to get her opinion on everything.
Speaking about her role on the show, the retired ballerina admits that she finds it difficult when it comes to critiquing the contestants. “There is so much I can say from my own experience,” she explains. “But it's being able to get it out quick and sharp. I would do it in a much friendlier, hands-on sort of way, so it's very odd sitting behind a desk.”
Not that she doesn’t love the job, she describes working on the show as “fabulous”, but admits that she was a little nervous when she first started. “It's very daunting. I've been on stage and done lots of live shows, but I've never had to open my mouth.”
