Company magazine has reported that Cheryl and Ashley Cole will be divorced before the Fifa World Cup begins next month.
The Chelsea player is set to jet off to South Africa with the England squad and is likely to do so in the knowledge that he has no wife to come back to.
Sexy singer Cheryl dumped her husband after reports of infidelities caused their relationship to break down.
Her PR company recently confirmed that she has taken legal action to officially cut ties with the defender.
It seems the Girls Aloud star is even set to let Ashley keep their £6 million mansion in Surrey to speed up the process and will not ask for any cash from the cheating left back.
"Cheryl made a swift decision to put England's World Cup dreams ahead of herself," the Sun quoted an insider as saying.
"The divorce should be finalised before England's first touch of the ball in South Africa on June 12th."
England will play the USA, Slovenia and Algeria in Group C of the World Cup.
