The Promise This singer is apparently struggling with the programme this year.
A source told Star magazine: "This year's X Factor has been tough on Cheryl. On top of all her personal problems, the show has pushed [her] to breaking point.
"First she has to deal with the furore after she sent Gamu home and now she is under fire every week for some reason. She says she can't do anything right and she's not sleeping properly because of it."
Two weeks ago, Chezza faced further criticism after she chose not to send home either of her acts in the Sunday night sing-off.
Treyc Cohen faced the highly-controversial singer Katie Waissel in the bottom two and Cheryl refused to vote, which led to Treyc being sent home.
