Stars such as actresses Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene have been spotted rocking the look recently as they promoted Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which is the third movie in the series.
Look praised K-Stew for her fashion choices as she sported a new hair colour in a plaited bun with a "show-stopping dress" at the New York screening of the flick.
Ashley Greene was also spotted with a messy side plait in Madrid, where she was on Twilight promo duty.
Other stars to have plaited up this summer include Nicole Richie, Leona Lewis, Sienna Miller and Emma Watson, as well as a plethora of models on the catwalk.
Twilight Saga: Eclipse also stars Robert Pattinson, who recently made it onto Forbes' list of the 100 most influential celebrities in the world for the first time.
