Kellogg's is cashing in on Christmas

The cereal manufacturer will be launching a multi-brand promotion to coincide with the festive season.

It will be offering Christmas packs of some of its best-known brands, including Cornflakes, Rice Krispies and Frosties, for just £3 as part of its Only the Best campaign, reports Marketing Week magazine.

The food giant hopes this will encourage shoppers to "trade up" over the festive period.

A spokesperson for Kellogg's said: "Insight tells us there is a huge opportunity for us as more than ever shoppers want quality across all goods to give their friends and family the best at Christmas time and will be looking to buy premium and branded goods to put on their breakfast table," reports Marketing Week magazine.

According to the Kellogg's website, its cereals and grains "provide a nutritious start to the day, contributing to iron and fibre consumption, and fortified with vitamins and folic acid".
