Ed Miliband makes headlines as the Labour Party Conference

The Labour Party Conference is well under way, and don't we know as Ed Miliband makes headlines.

The Labour Party conference is well and truly under way, and don’t we know it as Ed Miliband seems to be dominating the headlines of all the national newspapers at the moment, having been called “weird” by voters and allegedly made a speech declaring himself “anti-business”.

The Daily Telegraph newspaper has been reporting live on the conference and whilst Miliband seems to have brushed the “weird” comments off, he has had to defend the claims about the speech he made last night.

He claims he was speaking about both good and bad business practices when speaking of “predators” only after making money quickly.

Miliband has said that he believes the UK is in need of a new society, where those who work hard are rewarded and union leaders have described him as “a man on a mission”. However, the Conservative party – unsurprisingly – disagree and call Miliband a “weak leader”.

The Daily Telegraph will be reporting on the conference until it finishes tomorrow, so to keep up with the latest news, be sure to read your Daily Telegraph Newspaper subscription.
