E.ON launches energy-saving campaign

Marketing magazine subscription holders can read how E.ON has launched a new advertising campaign.

If you've got a Marketing magazine subscription, you can read about the new advertising campaign from E.ON, which hopes to help consumers save energy.

Called the E.ON Energy Fit Experience, the marketing campaign has been created by experiential agency RPM and fits in with the company's FA Cup sponsorship - having a football theme.

Some 7,000 customers in London and Nottingham will be given VIP passes to the advertising event, reports Marketing magazine.

They will be able to win football and energy-saving prizes at the events.

Head of sponsorship at the energy supplier Phil Boas said: "E.ON is challenging the way consumers see energy companies. Instead of a hard sell, we want to educate and empower consumers to become more 'energy fit', no matter who their energy supplier is."

E.ON is one of the UK's leading energy suppliers and it boasts that it's the second largest generator of electricity in the country.
