I like to pick up Elle Decoration – I’m always keen on interior design magazines. They’re always beautifully presented, showcasing fantastic ideas and really creative designs that can transform a room. If I’m honest, I’ll often end up buying three or four, but Elle Decoration always seems to reflect my style and tastes in terms of how I think a room should look. I think many people enjoy renovating properties and putting their own stamp on interiors. I suppose it’s a hobby that everyone subscribes to, although we all need a bit of creative inspiration along the way, and that’s where these types of magazines step in!

CATH KIDSTON loves Elle Decoration Magazine!

When you’re a designer you have to compartmentalise yourself ever so slightly into creating things in a certain way. They say you should never restrict how you go about things too much, but I think you need to give your work focus and make sure it goes in a certain direction, and that should be much the same in terms of the magazine you choose to read as well. For me, Elle Decoration takes design as being serene, classy, complete, warm and feminine. It’s a beautiful magazine that works so hard to offer new ideas to readers, and I really appreciate that in a title.

I've really got into interior design in the past few years and I love Elle Decoration. I try to keep up with who's doing what and who's wearing what, but I always come back to what colour my curtains should be. The 'time of the month' is usually described as a time of dread and despair but not any more! When I hear the 'plop' on the doorstep at the beginning of each month I'm filled with joy and happiness! Elle Deco is definitely my guilty pleasure. The husband is ignored for a few hours whilst I salivate over the gorgeous months' 'palette' and get 'in conversation with' various hot designers. Elle Deco is a must for any self respecting DITY enthusiast! (Do Interior Design Yourself!) LOVE IT!
