I can’t wait for the Ashes to begin this year – it’s going to be a really busy summer, but I just want to immerse myself in as much cricket as possible.
I like All Out Cricket because they put me on the cover! But more than that, it’s the perfect title for catching up with all aspects of the game, from various results around the world to top interviews and some fantastic equipment guides too.
It also doesn’t take itself too seriously, which can sometimes be a criticism of cricket. So it’s a great read.
This month’s issue is a full-to-bursting Ashes special and fittingly we’ve enlisted Ashes-winning hero Andrew Flintoff as our guest editor.
With Fred at the helm, we look ahead to the battle between world cricket’s fiercest rivals with a bumper 37-page section, including an exclusive interview with Ian Bell on his Ashes story. Elsewhere, Michael Vaughan and Ricky Ponting tell us where they think the series will be won and lost and we’ve got the great and good of the game to regale us with their most poignant Ashes memories. Throw in a trip down memory lane recalling the greatest series ever played, as told by some of the main protagonists of ’05, and we’ve got all bases covered.
